Scope

Brand identity, guidelines, social campaign and website

+ 01  The situation

Opening the door to DIY.

BetterDoor built its name in industrial door hardware. It set out to do more than sell parts: to help DIY homeowners tackle upgrades with confidence.

+ 02  The problem

Built for pros, not homeowners.

The brand and the site spoke to industrial buyers. Reaching homeowners meant making the process feel inspiring, not intimidating, without losing the technical expertise the business was built on.

+ 03  The alignment

Break on through.

We aligned on a strategic shift: from a purely industrial focus to a dual-audience brand that speaks to both the enthusiast and the pro, pairing technical expertise with a consumer-facing soul.

+ 04  The system

Building from the ground up.

A logo that balances precision with simplicity, echoing a hands-on spirit. Warm, accessible typography paired with imagery of real tools and homes, not stock perfection.

Comprehensive guidelines keep the identity cohesive across web, packaging and marketing.

+ 05  The application

Built to shop and learn.

A social campaign introduced BetterDoor with DIY tips, before-and-after imagery and product spotlights. Templates make every post reinforce the brand and drive traffic to the new site.

The website is a mobile-first storefront that guides homeowners through sills, thresholds and hardware, with clear calls to action and technical video resources, so complex inventory becomes an intuitive retail path.

+ 06  The result

DIY, made easy.

BetterDoor now has a brand that speaks to homeowners and pros alike, and a store that makes shopping for door parts easy, even for first-timers.

“The whole brand just clicks with our audience. The look, the site, the social…it all makes DIY feel easy, which is exactly what we were going for.”
