Good intentions, clunky experience.
The Autism Society of North Carolina had a powerful mission, but a website and brand presence that didn’t match. The site was outdated, hard to navigate, and failed to reflect the vibrant community it serves.
Internally, the marketing team needed a more flexible way to manage content, and a brand that could stretch across digital and print.
Rebuilt from the ground up.
Working closely with the ASNC team, I led the website redesign and rebuild. Clearer navigation helps families, caregivers and professionals find services. ADA-accessible design keeps the interface inviting and human.
A flexible CMS gives the internal team the power to update content without breaking the design.
Life with autism.
To elevate the brand, we created the “Life with autism” campaign: a personal, modular approach that let people share their own experiences, from “Life with Joy” to “Life with Challenges” and “Life with Hope.”
A promotional video stitched the themes together, a rallying cry for awareness, understanding and action that showed the many ways ASNC supports its community every day.
Results that resonate.
The redesigned site gave ASNC a digital presence that matches the heart and scale of its work. Bounce rate dropped 34%, first-time visitors engaged more, and content and fundraising updates got faster.
The “Life with autism” campaign is still used across email, social, print and events.
